Online CME Activities

Along with regularly scheduled grand rounds and conferences, the Office of Continuing Medical Education provides online courses, which include internet activity enduring materials, internet searching and learning and internet live courses.

Point of Care (PoC)

Consists of a structured, self-directed, on-line learning methodology for physicians, on topics relevant to their clinical practice.  A reflective process, in which physicians must document their clinical question, the sources consulted, and the application of these to medical practice, drives learning.

Comprehensive Motivational Interventions (CMI)

CMI is a set of highly structured, evidence-informed, stepped-care self-management support tools and techniques based on the principles and practice of motivational Interviewing and behavior and health system change.
