Our lab is currently investigating the role of Kv1 channels in neural stem cells function and proliferation. More specifically, we are aiming to identify proteins involved in regulating Kv1 channel trafficking using in-vitro methodologies.  In addition, we are studying stem cell proliferation in children with new onset seizures using MRI/MRS with the goal of identifying their role in epileptogenesis as targets for prognostication and preventing epilepsy.
