Why Stony Brook? I like the idea of being close enough to NYC that it is accessible for special events, but far enough away that I can enjoy a quieter environment and more outdoor activities. Dr. Lane, our program director, and the friendly residents that I met at the interview, were a major reason that I became interested in Stony Brook. A kind and approachable program director and colleagues are key to an enjoyable residency experience.
