Patients with sleep disorders are referred to the Sleep Disorders Center in Smithtown, NY, which offers a quiet, private setting using advanced equipment. The Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, providing a full range of diagnostic and treatment services to patients of all ages with sleep-related symptoms. The medical staff consists of expert neurologists, pulmonologists, and pediatricians who are credentialed in Sleep Medicine and experienced in diagnosing and treating complex disorders. Our sleep technologist staff consists of registered poly-somnographers and licensed respiratory therapists who assist in the care of patients requiring oxygen during sleep.
The Sleep Disorders Center was named to Sleep Review's Best of 2013 Sleep Doctors and Facilities list. The center is the only New York facility named to this list, which is compiled by the national professional journal for sleep specialists based on recommendations from a national panel of leading sleep professionals.
