Research Interests
I graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Anthropology and a Minor in Human Physiology. I received honors in the Department of Anthropology for completing a senior thesis in which I investigated entheseal changes in human skeletal remains from a 15th-century medieval European cemetery site that are now a part of the Mistihalj, Bosnia-Herzegovina Collection which is housed at the Harvard Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology. Currently, I'm broadly interested in functional anatomy and morphological variation within the primate hand as well as morphological comparisons that can be made across mammals. I'm also interested in the evolution of prehension and dexterity in primates and humans, specifically.
