Hi everyone! My name is Elizabath Karuvelithara, and I’m from New Hyde Park, New York. I recently graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy in May 2025, and I’m thrilled to be joining Stony Brook University Hospital! My current clinical interests include ambulatory care and pediatrics, though I’m excited to explore a variety of specialties during my time here. I’m especially passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with both patients and providers to deliver the highest quality of care. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy cooking new recipes, trying out different restaurants, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. I’m looking forward to all the opportunities and experiences ahead at Stony Brook! |

Hi everyone, my name is Meghan Smith! I am from Northport, NY which is a small town on the north shore of Long Island about 30 minutes from Stony Brook. I graduated from the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia with my PharmD and MBA in April of 2025. I am excited to join an extremely knowledgeable pharmacy department and work in interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care to patients. Providing care to patients in Suffolk County is near and dear to my heart and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey of lifelong learning at Stony Brook University Hospital. My areas of interest include ambulatory care and psychiatry. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, reading books pertaining to mindfulness and wellness, and spending time with family and friends. One fun fact about me is I played division I lacrosse throughout my undergraduate studies, and division II lacrosse while in pharmacy school! |

Hi everyone, my name is Saarah! I’m from Brooklyn, NY, and I graduated from Long Island University. I’m incredibly excited for the year ahead and all the opportunities to learn, grow, and work with my co-residents, preceptors, and other healthcare professionals. I'm so grateful to be in such a supportive learning environment—one that I know will help shape me into the confident, competent, and well-rounded clinical pharmacist I aspire to be. I have a wide range of interests, including infectious diseases, transitions of care, internal medicine, and academia—but I’m also open to exploring other areas throughout the year. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy spending time with my family, discovering new music, traveling, and playing the piano. Looking forward to everything this year has in store! |
