I am a rising fourth year PhD student in the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology program. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2019. Here, my research was primarily focused towards creating a human serum albumin fusion protein containing a therapeutic peptide targeting the tumor suppressor p53, which could ultimately be used for synergistic cancer therapy. My current work at Stony Brook focuses on establishing the synthetic lethal relationship between TIMELESS and BRCA1/2 proteins in preserving fork integrity, which could be therapeutically exploited for targeting TIMELESS and/or modulating PARPi sensitivity in BRCA1/2-deficient tumors.
