Novneet Singh

My name is Novneet (Sage) Singh, a third-year Ph.D. student and SBMS Scholar in the Department of BiomedicalEngineering. I completed my Bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics & Statistics, as wellas my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University. My research focuses on developing a clinicalinterface to improve data fidelity and telemetry in the Cardiothoracic ICU, with a specific focus on patients undergoingExtracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). By building a historical patient database and implementing predictivemachine learning models, this work helps clinicians anticipate critical interventions before complications occur. Ultimatelygiving care teams more time to plan, improving recovery outcomes and reducing patient mortality.
