I am a rising third year PhD Student in the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Program at Stony Brook University. I received my BS degrees in Pharmacy from Ocean University of China. My current work focuses on investigating whether oligodendrocytes with mutations affecting several dystrophin isoforms have functional deficits, in the context of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. And how late-pregnancy extracellular vesicles, compared to extracellular vesicles from virgin controls, differ in their molecular cargos and their ability to influence oligodendrocyte regenerative capacity following toxin-mediated demyelination, in the context of Multiple Sclerosis.
