I am a fourth year in the MCP program and my lab focuses on the structure and function relationship of tyrosine kinases in cancer. Kinases are a class of proteins that regulate growth and proliferation, and are often found to be associated with different types of cancer. My SBMS project will focus on observing the role of the kinases in pancreatic cancer through the use of patient samples.

I received my BS in Pharmacology from Stony Brook University. My undergraduate research experience includes neural studies in mouse models, but my research interest has now shifted towards structural biology. My hobbies include gaming, writing music on electric guitar, trying new foods, and going outdoors.
