Gabby received her B.S. in Neuroscience from Cedar Crest College in 2014, working on the development and differentiation of neurons. She is continuing her interest in neuroscience in the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Ph.D. Program here at Stony Brook University. Her current research includes synaptic electrophysiology of NMDA receptors and their modulation in the Wollmuth-Hsieh Lab. She is excited to begin translational research with Dr. Louis Manganas investigating the affects of NMDA receptor mutations in patients with genetic epilepsy.
