Hi! I am Mohanlall (b.k.a. Mo) and I am a 3rd year PhD student in the Neurobiology and Behavior program. Prior to entering the PhD program, I have completed a Bachelor’s of Engineering and Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering. My engineering background has afforded me the opportunity to secure a position as a Research and Development Scientist for a local biotechnology company that focused on developing in-vitro diagnostic devices. My current research now, however, focuses on generating viable repair therapies for Multiple Sclerosis. I firmly believe that the SBMS program will give me the necessary clinical insights to help further my research and ultimately bring it into the clinic for patients to benefit from. When not in the lab, I enjoy going to the movies, arcades, and playing a good game (or two) of Texas Hold’em. An interesting and also very weird fact about me is that I am vegetarian (for over 10 years) that’s not keen on eating many vegetables.
