Tobi completed his BSc in Biology at the State University of New York in Plattsburgh where he elucidated the role of nitric oxide-auxin signaling axis in cell size regulation of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Tobi joined the Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) program at Stony Brook University and is completing his graduate studies in David Tuveson’s lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Using Phage Display and Hybridoma technologies, he aims to develop antibodies specific to pancreatic cancer cells for the discovery of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Under the clinical mentorship of Dr. Ellen Li, Tobi aims to translate this tumor-specific antibody development to the clinic with a focus on cancer health disparities.
