Research in our lab is focused on clinical and treatment outcomes of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, factors affecting neurosurgical clinical outcomes, use of Artificial Intelligence in Cerebrovascular Surgery, and education in microneurosurgery. Some current ongoing projects include role of predisposing medical conditions in outcomes of intracerebral hemorrhage, factors affecting outcomes of ischemic stroke, natural history of veretebrobasilar aneurysms, and implementation of AI in emergent stroke imaging.

Clinically, we investigate advanced microsurgical, and endovascular techniques for treatment of most complex intracranial vascular pathologies including cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, cavernomas, and cerebrovascular occlusive conditions such as Moyamoya.
