Reconstructing the Large Scale
Evolutionary Patterns of Theropods and Crocodylomorphs

Archosaurs form a group of reptiles that is represented today by birds and crocodiles. The ancestors of these living groups evolved away from each other almost 250 million years ago leaving behind traces of a complex, divergent evolutionary history. My research focuses on reconstructing the anatomy, phylogeny and life history for dinosaurs and crocodylomorphs, the extinct relatives from which birds and crocodylians evolved, respectively.
