- Register here
- Select "Log in Through My Organization" and enter "Stony Brook"
- You will need Duo Mobile authenticator app and your NetID username and password
- Click on "Add a Course"
- Select Biomedical, or if your study is a non-interventional survey study you can select Social Behavioral
- For help, contact any of the IRB Assistants in Stony Brook's Office of Research Compliance
- Note that CITI training must be renewed every 3 years

- Download a protocol form to get started. It's required and is a great guide to good research design.
- "Create" a study (begin entering basic information about your study) in MyResearch
- Select "IRB" and log in using your NetID and Duo Security
- Note that this does not submit anything to the IRB, it just assigns your study an IRB number.
- Take note of additional items which may be required for your study
- Forms may be found under "Library" in the lefthand column on the MyInbox page in MyResearch
