Why Stony Brook: I connected with the people I interviewed with much more than any other interview. Dr. Lane is one of the warmest people I had met and that was clear even from the 20-minute interview I had with her. I also wanted to be in a strong academic environment with an impressive fellowship match history and Stony Brook offered all of that. The area is more affordable than NYC (where I was based for my clinical rotations) and has fewer distractions but offers access to the city’s countless activities when I want it.
