Research Interests

I received my M.S. at Hofstra University where I studied how Acinetobacter baylyi utilizes pili to aid in various processes including motility and biofilm production. My current research interests involve studying different symbiotic relationships between humans and bacteria and the molecular mechanisms used by bacteria to establish these relationships. I am also interested in studying how the human immune system responds to such interactions. During my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, cycling, and cooking.
