Liquid embolics, which are injected as a liquid through a micro-catheter, but then solidify when they enter the vasculature are used to treat a variety of diseases such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, meningiomas, and subdural hematomas. We conduct both in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate the embolization efficiency of these agents.
