Welcome to the Division of Endocrinology of the Department of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Our mission is to provide high quality care for all endocrine disorders, offer an outstanding training environment for the future generation of endocrinologists, and enhance research opportunities in basic and clinical endocrine research programs. Our Division provides in-patient consultation and staffs several ambulatory care facilities at Stony Brook University Medical Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Northport. Faculty members, staff and research facilities are based at each location. A comprehensive diabetes program emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of diabetes with participation of attending physicians, fellows, nurse educators, nutritionists and social workers. A close association is maintained with pediatric and reproductive endocrinology and surgery. |
