FUNDING: PE PFKFB3 in subretinal fibrosis K99/R00
Pathway to Independence Award, National Eye Institute, NIH, 2023-2028 This study aims to define the role of PFKFB3-mediated metabolism in RPE cells in the development of subretinal fibrosis and to demonstrate PFKFB3 inhibition as a novel strategy for treating subretinal fibrosis.
