Health Sciences Personnel acts as a liaison between Human Resource Services and the faculty of the Schools of Dental Medicine, Health Technology, Nursing and Social Welfare, as well the School of Medicine, State and Research Foundation employees. Services provided include:
- Faculty transactions including appointments, reappointments, leaves of absence, terminations, labor distribution/account changes extra service, etc.
- Review and audit of compensation/incentive plans and equity
- Review of Appointment, Promotion and Tenure (APT) Committee submissions
- Review faculty recruitment/EEO activities
- Maintain custody of official personnel files for faculty
- Faculty employment verifications
- Credentialing/Licensing
- JCAHO compliance monitoring
- Voluntary faculty, Visiting Scholars/Interns, Shadower/Observer, Volunteers, PEO employees and Temporary agency appointments
- Management of TMS, Interfolio, PS
- Annual RF increase process
- Independent Contractors
