* if applying to the Stony Brook Dietetic Internship and MS in Professional Nutrition Practice programs at the same time on DICAS, the second application fee will be $25, instead of $50.
Interns are required to show proof of health insurance. If students cannot show proof of insurance, they will be billed by the University. The fees for health insurance are available at https://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/studentaffairs/shs/insurance/index.php.
- Interns are responsible for their own transportation to rotations, which may be at University Hospital or as far as 50 miles away from Stony Brook University (for on-site dietetic interns). Each intern must have his/her own transportation.

Scholarships
Stony Brook University does not offer any scholarships for the Dietetic Internship. There are scholarships through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
