Jake Gigliotti, MD
Jake Gigliotti, M.D. brings both versatility and creativity to his work and life. Jake Gigliotti grew up in North Carolina and studying in Georgia and Virginia before Joining Med Peds here at stony Brook University Hospital. Jake's background reflects a diverse range of experiences, and that same diversity shows in his wide-ranging interests, from competitive sports and outdoor adventures to literature and the arts. Whether kayaking, reading The Little Prince or The Book Thief, or enjoying his favorite play Les Miserables, Jake brings creativity, balance, and a thoughtful perspective to everything he does. During his undergraduate studies at Medical College of Georgia, Jake served at the President of the Honor Council, participated in the Leadership Ethics Group, and a medical Mission trip in Tiawana reflects his commitment to both ethics and service.

Why Med-Peds?: Jake enjoys caring for both adults and children, finding value in the way treatments for one age group can often inform the other. Med-Peds allows him to maintain this balance while keeping his future career possibilities broad.
Outside interests: Soccer, frisbee, kayaking, hiking, golf, board games, reading and theatre.
