Rena Schreier, MD 

Rena Schreier, MD, comes from Brooklyn, New York and earned her medical degree from Suny Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in May 2025. Med Peds stood out to Rena because her love for people of all ages made it difficult to choose just one group to focus on. Here, in the Med Peds Residency program, Rena has works across a variety of divisions in both pediatrics and internal medicine. Rena's choice in Med Peds also reflects her forward-thinking approach, allowing her to stay competitive and open to a wide range of future career possibilities. Known for her adaptability and warm personality, she enjoys an array of hobbies but holds a unique talent for mirror writing.

Why Med-Peds?: "I enjoy working with both adult and children, and Med Peds gave me the opportunity to do without having to choose. I was also drawn to the dual training as I believe it can make me a more versatile physician, regardless of what I ultimately end up doing after residency." 

Outside interests: Baseball, true crime, historical fiction, coloring books and talking long walks.
