Why Med-Peds?: I enjoy the complexity of adult patients with
multiple conditions, but also the varied pediatric patients and the challenge
of working with diverse families. MedPeds will give me a broad
foundation to work with patients of all ages in underserved communities both
domestically and internationally.
Why Stony Brook?: I was blown away by the kindness of the people here, especially
the program directors. The community here is incredibly supportive and like a
family.
What do you plan on
doing when finished residency (if known)? I am interested in global health and possibly
further training in hospitalist medicine or pulmonary/critical care.
Outside interests: Swimming,
hiking, flute, cooking, traveling, triathlons and ultimate frisbee
