Nickname:David

Hometown: Flushing, New York

Why Med-Peds?: I want to take care of everyone, from grandkid to grandpa.

Why Stony Brook?: I grew up in Queens and spent a lot of time in and around Long Island. This area is my home which made Stony Brook very attractive to me. The residents made me feel at home when I interviewed, which only reaffirmed my choice of Stony Brook. I also love New York City. NYC attracts people from across the country and the world, and you can feel that energy around you as you walk the streets. That sort of frenetic energy is infectious and energizes me.

What do you plan on doing when finished residency (if known)? I am interested in furthering my training with a fellowship. Right now, I am considering Pulmonary/Critical Care or GI.

Outside interests: Running, Fencing, and all things pop-culture and science fiction.
