Why Med-Peds? Med-Peds training is the best way to gain perspective on wellness over the course of a life. I have always been curious about how burden of disease affects individuals and populations. In the modern world, the most burdensome conditions stem from chronic issues. How better to understand chronic problems than by working with patients from birth till end-of-life?

Why Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University? The people. The med-peds community at Stony Brook is tight-knit, well organized and everyone acts to support residents' development and well being.

What do you plan on doing when finished residency (if known)? I have always been primary care oriented. I'm currently exploring a potential interest in Adolescent Medicine.

Outside interests: Running, kayaking, travel
