Ms. Ng is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed her dietetic internship at Stony Brook University Hospital and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Health Care Policy and Management, with a concentration in Nutrition, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Annemarie currently serves as the Associate Director of the Stony Brook Dietetic Internship Program and is co-manager of the Stony Brook Heights Rooftop Farm. She also provides nutrition counseling services and precepts dietetic interns at the Student Health Center. Prior to joining the Department of Family, Population and Preventive Medicine, Annemarie served as the Dietetic Internship Coordinator at Northwell Health. She also worked as an adjunct instructor in the Dietetic Technician Program at Suffolk County Community College and brings over 10 years of experience counseling clients through her private practice. In 2014, she was honored with the New York State Dietetic Association’s Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater New York/Long Island Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her professional interests include diabetes, obesity, and community health.
