Ms. Cohen is a registered dietitian/nutritionist and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family, Population and Preventive Medicine.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University along with becoming certified as an Exercise Physiologist through The American College of Sports Medicine. She furthered her education by completing her Dietetic Internship and Master in Nutrition from Stony Brook University.


Ms. Cohen currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the Masters in Professional Nutrition Practice (MS-PNP) and serves as a public health preceptor for the Program-identified track (onsite) DI and MS-PNP programs.  In addition to co-managing the Stony Brook Heights rooftop Farm, in 2023, Ms. Cohen assisted with the launch of the SBM Food Farmacy, a hospital-based food pantry that serves food-insecure patients with 2 weeks of supplemental food and community resources.
