INDUCER
(Increasing Diversity in Undergraduate Cancer Biology Education and Research)

Program Duration:  June 5 – August 11, 2023

Application Deadline:  January 16, 2023

The program requires a full-time commitment 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday for the full ten-week period. After which, the student will work for the next two years for a scheduled time agree upon by the research mentor (no less than 15 to 20 hours a week).

Program Benefits:
1)    Learn molecular biology and biochemistry laboratory skills, techniques and concepts

4)    Students will be paid $15 an hour for 10 weeks (40 hrs/week)
5)    Students receive financial support to attend a national biomedical research conference
6)    Option to live on campus in dormitory housing during the program*
*students are responsible for their own food and housing costs during the program
