Dr. Patel serves as a consultant in Molecular Pathology, in collaboration with our Technical Director of Molecular Pathology, to guide the development and implementation of next gen sequencing and related technologies for individualized therapeutic interventions. Dr. Patel is also uniquely qualified to work with the Pathology Department Residency Program Director and with the Directors of the Selective Pathology and Hematopathology Fellowship programs to help us develop a Molecular Pathology Curriculum for training residents and clinical fellows in the Department of Pathology.
