Drs. Kenneth Shroyer, Luisa Escobar-Hoyos, Jingfang Ju, and Andrew Fesler were highlighted by the Office for Research and Innovation and Intellectual Property Partners as Stony Brook University inventors who have recently been issued patents.
Drs. Shroyer and Escobar-Hoyos were granted their patent for Keratin 17 as a Biomarker for Bladder Cancer and Drs. Ju and Fesler were granted their patent in 5-Halouracil-Modified microRNAs and Their Use in the Treatment of Cancer.
