I am happy to announce our recruitment of Dr. Felicia Allard as Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Allard is certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology and has subspecialty expertise in GI Pathology. Dr. Allard earned her Medical Degree from the University of Colorado in Denver (2009) and she did her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (2014) and fellowship in Gastrointestinal & Hepatobiliary Pathology (2015) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.  She subsequently completed a second fellowship (in Cytopathology) at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville (2016).  Prior to her recruitment to Stony Brook, Dr. Allard served as the Anatomic Pathology Education Director at the University of Oklahoma and as Director of Sub-Fellowship Elective Rotation at the University of Arkansas. 

Dr. Allard will participate in our newly deployed subspecialty-based Surgical Pathology diagnostic service and also will also have major roles in Cytopathology, supporting the training of medical students, residents and clinical fellows.   In addition, she will engage in academic and scholarly activity related to her research interests in pancreatic cancer biomarkers, to support the research missions of the Department of Pathology and the School of Medicine.
