[img_assist|nid=4007|title=|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=120|height=180]Dr. Jay Bock had the honor of presenting the Gerald T. Evans Award to Dr. Eric Spitzer at the June 2009 annual meeting of the Academy of Clinical Laboratory Physicians and Scientist (ACLPS) in Los Angeles. This prestigious award, named for a leader who helped establish the academic field of Laboratory Medicine, is conferred annually by the society to recognize "outstanding leadership and/or service" (ACLPS Awards). It has gone to many outstanding pathologists and laboratory scientists over the past 39 years.
Please join me in congratulating Dr. Spitzer on receiving this well-deserved national recognition!
