The surgical pathology laboratory provides active participation in Tissue Banking for patients who have given their consent. An IRB approved Tissue Bank is headed by a Principal Investigator who reports to the departmental and division leadership. The Associate Technical Director is the administrative head and a Tissue Bank technician participates in specimen banking.
