State Residency

The Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University is state supported. As such, tuition determination is dependent upon sufficient documentation of New York State residency. If your principal or permanent home has not been in New York State for a 12-month period immediately prior to the date you intend to enroll, you will be considered an out-of-state student for tuition purposes.

For additional clarification regarding this matter, please go to the Stony Brook University website's Student Financial Services pages on New York State residency.
