Welcome to mMedEd

mMedEd, launched in 2016, is Renaissance School of Medicine’s (m)obile (Med)ical (Ed)ucation initiative that makes use of enhanced teaching and learning technologies such as iPads, mobile optimized e-textbooks, real-time collaboration tools, and more. By leveraging technology at every point in the curriculum – from course materials and learning resources to interactive classroom and small-group technologies – mMedEd aims to expand faculty’s teaching capabilities and improve student learning outcomes.

The Health Sciences Library is a key player in supporting the mMedEd initiative, providing training and support to students and faculty, as well as free access to the latest mobile apps and digital resources.
