Dr Ewa Rakowski is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary /Critical Care Division, Department of Medicine, at Stony Brook University Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science at McGill University and her Medical Doctorate at Rutgers University- New Jersey Medical School. Dr Rakowski completed Internal Medicine training and Chief Residency at Albert Einstein - Montefiore Medicine Center in Bronx, NY followed by Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at New York University - Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, NY. During her time at NYU she focused on asthma clinical care and research. As a Faculty member of the Department of Medicine at Stony Brook University since 2017, she practices inpatient critical care, inpatient pulmonary and outpatient pulmonary. Her outpatient practice focuses on the management of severe and difficult to treat asthma. Stony Brook is able to offer comprehensive asthma diagnostic studies, patient education and access to advanced biologic therapies when necessary.
