Dr. Rajeev Patel, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology at Franklin & Marshall College in 2000. In 2005, he completed his medical degree from St. George’s University. In 2006, he completed a Research Fellowship at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research in silent HIV infection within the renal tubular cells. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency & Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital from 2006 through 2013. During that time he served as chief resident and chief fellow. Dr. Rajeev Patel’s activities include research in aerosols as a tool to study infection control and drug delivery. He is also the Program Director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and has a keen focus on medical education in the new digital era.
