Dr. Ronak Shah is the Director of Inpatient Ultrasound and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary, Critical Care Division, Department of Medicine, at Stony Brook University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and Doctorate of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He stayed in the Bronx and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein – Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Shah received his Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Long Island Jewish/North Shore University Hospital – Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. As a faculty member at Stony Brook, Dr. Shah practices critical care, inpatient and outpatient pulmonary. His clinical and research interests lies in ARDS physiology and use of critical care ultrasound.
