Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award was established in 2004 to recognize one or more graduate students in the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology Program who have extended themselves beyond the scope of graduate education and research by participation in extracurricular activities of the Program. Examples of contributions made by previous recipients of this award include assistance in graduate student recruitment, participation in orientation week activities, and service as a Graduate Student Organization member or member of the Program's Executive Committee.
