This concentration provides advanced training in nutrition therapy for acute/critical inpatient care. It is most appropriate for students planning for a career as registered dietitian nutritionists in acute care settings and seeking to advance their knowledge in the evolving and often controversial area of critical care for both adult and pediatric populations.
Integrative Nutrition Therapy
The growing interest and evidence base for integrative nutrition therapy warrants a concentration focused on this area. This concentration is appropriate for students interested in applying food and the judicious use of supplements to optimize health and prevent disease progression.
Generalist
This is the broadest concentration, likely for students interested in non-acute settings or in non-clinical settings.
