Welcome to the Emergency Ultrasound Division at Stony Brook University Hospital. Stony Brook has an active bedside ultrasound program in the emergency department. We have 5 active bedside ultrasounds, all using a dedicated electronic storing system that allows image archiving and QA review.
There are currently 2 US fellowship-trained faculty on staff. Our critical care faculty use ultrasound extensively. All other faculty are credentialed in ultrasound and most use it in their daily practice.
