RSOM Foundations Program

We are excited to announce the launch of our RSOM Foundations Program, and we invite your early (years 2-5) clinical faculty to participate.

We believe that well-supported faculty are the cornerstone to a thriving academic health center. The Foundations development program is designed to guide and accelerate the academic careers of early clinical faculty at the Renaissance School of Medicine by providing them with essential skills, knowledge, and experiences to help them chart a successful career in academic medicine. The program consists of monthly in-person, interactive workshops focusing on areas essential for the academic clinician.

Program Highlights

  • Comprehensive Training: Gain insights from experienced faculty through workshops, guest speakers, and interactive sessions.
  • Mentorship: Develop and implement core skills in the mentee and mentor roles.
  • Networking Opportunities: Build lasting relationships with colleagues from across the RSOM clinical departments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Rank of Assistant Professor
  • A passion for an academic career – teaching, research, and patient care
  • Years 2-5 at RSOM
  • An attitude of self-direction and willingness to learn, engage, and collaborate
