The Stony Brook Internal Medicine-Pediatrics practice has three attending staff physicians; Liliana Tique, MD, Samantha Feld, MD and Aleksey Tentler, MD, along with twelve resident physicians-in-training to serve the needs of families.  Our physicians, trained in Medicine-Pediatrics, complete a four-year training program that combines the strengths of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, allowing them to care for the elderly, adults, and children.  All of our providers are dually board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and serve as educators in our School of Medicine, teaching the next generation of physicians as medical students, residents and fellows.

In the Stony Brook Medicine Advanced Primary Care Center for Pediatrics was recently recognized by William Wertheim, MD MBA, Executive Vice President for Stony Brook Medicine, for its unique model of care and the dedication of its faculty and staff:

"What makes this center stand out is its seamless transition of care for adolescents from a pediatric model of care, in which parents make most decisions, to an adult model in which the patient takes responsibility for decision-making.
