Nicole Lum, MD is a graduate of the combined Siena College-Albany Medical College Science and Humanities Program, a program she chose because of the special emphasis it places on humanities, ethics, and social service in medicine. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine, served as chief resident to the IM residency program from 2020-2021 and joined the faculty practice of Stony Brook Internists in 2021. Nicole has always had a passion for service to others which is why she chose to pursue a career in primary care and medical education. She feels that her unique background has made her more versatile and well-rounded as a physician, and she is eager to share her experience with others. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Medicine-Pediatrics program in the capacity of APD and continue to support the residents.
