Recognition from Stony Brook Leadership

In a recent message to the Stony Brook Medicine Community, William Wertheim, MD, MBA, Executive Vice President for Stony Brook Medicine, highlighted Dr. Tique's impact as both a physician and program director:

"It was especially rewarding to reconnect with Liliana Tique, MD. FAAP, FACP, a physician I mentored during her residency here at Stony Brook. Seeing her now as a talented practicing physician and program director, making a meaningful impact in patient care and education, was a moving moment for me that underscored the strength of our training programs and the importance of educating the next generation of caregivers."

Dr. Tique's recognition is a proud moment not only for her but for the entire Med-Peds family here at Stony Brook. Her deep love for this program and her unwavering commitment to our residents continue to shape Med-Peds into the supportive, rigorous, and thriving community it is today.

We celebrate her leadership and look forward to the lasting impact she will continue to make.
