With guidance from our division director, Dr. Michael Secko, our department Interim Chair and Director of Research, Dr. Adam Singer, and our research coordinator, Andrea Gowie, there is no limit to the possibilities of ultrasound-related research being developed and performed at Stony Brook. Our department has a full-time statistician as well, and we have ongoing projects that span several ultrasound topics, from nerve blocks to educational topics, pulmonary embolism to Artificial Intelligence.
We are also involved in several multi-center research endeavors, including the TEE Resuscitation Registry and the REASON Trial Part 3 project, and we are collaborating with other medical and surgical departments in performing other ultrasound-related research.
