| | Dr. DiGioia
is a voluntary clinical assistant professor who joined the faculty in 2009. She
has attained fellowship status in the American College of Emergency Physicians
based on her past roles including peer quality assurance director as well as
research and community outreach programs that she has lead. Dr. DiGioia
Co-Founded A Promise to Peru Inc. in 2013, a non-profit organization that
serves to deliver needed medical care in and around the Sacred Valley of Peru.
She also enjoys mentoring medical students from the Stony Brook School of
Medicine each year who participate in this global health initiative. |
